Sweet little Makiah

Makiah is such a sweetie! She has been such a good baby and I just love playing with her. She loves to look at faces and she lights up when she sees her family. My Mom has been asking me if I'm taking movies of the kids so here's the proof!

Makiah is getting so big and a lot stronger, she can hold up her head and sit up, with help of course. Last night I laid her down on her back and then Dallas found her a couple minutes later on her belly! She sure beat Evan at that milestone :)

Cute little Evan

Evan loves to play with his money and his little missionary bank! He also likes to say money, you can hear him say it in the video. It sounds more like "Mo" but he tries! He also likes to look at this picture of me and my sisters, he knows how to say Cami (Ca) and Jillian (Jill). They both worked with him before we left Utah they wanted him to know their names. I want to put together a photo book for him so he can learn everybody's names even though we don't get to see family. Evan got side tracked in the movie because he heard Makiah crying, He always likes to take care of her when she is sad. Evan is sitting on a bed that some friends are letting us borrow, but I don't think he is ready for it, any tips on moving a toddler to a bed??? Let me know if you have any ideas!

Life as of now...

We have been having lots of fun lately. Dallas has been having a really easy going semester and so he is home a lot. We decided this week that we would exercise every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. So far we've actually done it! Today we walked to the elementary school and played tennis, we're getting pretty good! Evan liked to run after the balls for us and then throw them back to us.

Later we went swimming after Dallas got home from school. The water was way to cold in my opinion but Dallas and Evan had fun :)

Today is Makiah's 8 week birthday and she is getting so big! I was trying to get her to smile for the camera but I couldn't get any smiles outta her. This morning she grinned at me and her smile is so cute!

Evan loves to eat! Seriously, I can't get him to stop. This is a picture from Sunday when we had icecream cones, and of course he loved it. I just can't get over the look on his face in this picture! It totally describes his personality!

Our little apartment

Here is our little home in Indiana! I have been wanting to show you all some pictures of our place. We actually don't know how long we are going to be here, we've had some big concerns so we hopefully we will be moving soon. That makes us kinda sad, packing and moving is such a pain and its the last thing we want to do, but we feel like we don't have a choice. We found mold in our bathroom and we're worried about our kids. Evan has already been sick once(not to say that was the reason, but its a good chance and I'm not taking anymore chances). We were finally getting adjusted here so it's to bad this all had to happen. Anyway here is our little place we sure had fun decorating and all that. I personally think it looks better in person, you can't see the whole thing in these pictures (obviously).
This is our living room, we got that cute lamp when we moved in!

Here is our kitchen and dining room :)

Little Guy

Evan has been talking so much lately and it has been so fun to hear the cute things he says. Today at church we were walking down the hall and he was pointing at the lights so I started counting them, after I said one he said, "two!" On the way home he kept saying "cool!" Dallas or I must have said it and he thought it was fun! His favorite word right now, like all toddlers, is "NO!" He scrunches up his face, puckers his lips and shakes his head and says "no, no, no" we try not to laugh but it is so funny! I think the cutest thing he has said is, "there you are!" He says it when he finds something or someone he is looking for (like Makiah). The other day he was in his high chair eating, or rather whining and complaining. Then Dallas came through the door and he said, "There you are!" Only you have to picture it in a cute toddlers voice so it comes out, "Dare ooo are!" only he can't pronounce his r's. I wish you could all hear it, it is soooo cute! Posted by Picasa
