Little ones
I had some random things about my kids that I needed to write down before I forgot. So, here I go...
Evan is just silly, he talks and talks. I love it! Last week I was sitting on the couch with him and he was drawing on his magna doodle. Then he said, Look Mom! A "H"! I looked and he had drawn the letter H! So now he loves to draw the letter H. He also tries to draw other letters, E, O, and C are the ones that he has gotten down. He loves his letters and he sings the ABC's often.
Lately he likes to tell me where to go while we are driving in the car. It used to be because he knew where we were going... to church... to the library... etc. and he just likes to tell me the way. Now he wants me to go in the opposite direction that we need to go. I guess he thinks he is silly. Last Saturday we were driving and when we stopped at a stop light he said, "My go this way to fix my car." (as he points where we should go) He could see a gas station and he insisted that we go fix our car :) Now he says that every time we see a gas station.
Evan loves my new camera, too bad I won't let him touch it :) But he will pose for me... I love those blue eyes!Makiah... where to start :) I guess I should say that since I've started working she has gotten very clingy. She flips out if I leave the room. When I am in the room she is literally hanging on me. She had a rough week last week with teeth coming in so I am sure that is part of it. Also, she must be growing because she won't stop eating. To top it all off there is no bottle to soothe her because I stopped giving it to her :) yeay! (for me)
The good thing about me working is that she has really gotten close to her dad. She loves it when he comes home! Lucky Dallas gets to be with the kids from 2:30 on just about everyday. He is a great dad.
A funny and cute story about Kiah: Last week during all the teething drama none of us got much sleep. One night I finally went downstairs (after listening to her cry for sometime) and I got her a snack. She wouldn't eat the animal crackers I gave her she just held on tight to them. At least they calmed her down, so I took her back to bed with me. She snuggled right up and I thought she was asleep until I heard her eating her crackers. Talk about a nice midnight snack in bed :)
It sure is nice to know that my kids love each other. Evan is always giving Kiah hugs, so cute :)
