Family pictures 2009
One of the things we were able to do on our trip was get our pictures done. Dallas' sister does a fabulous job as a photographer and we are so happy with all of the pictures she took. We actually got a good picture of all four of us smiling and looking at the camera! (I put it on my new blog header) I cannot wait to get it printed and framed! Thank you so much Candi, you really do a great job :)
(I fixed the slide show, but now it won't load on... grrrrr)
I had some fun making some collages out of the pictures. I have had some people ask what program I use and it is just Picasa. there is a lot you can do with Picasa, it just takes some time. I have a lot of fun with it.

I also took some pictures of the kids while I was at my Mom's house. She has a nice camera and I had some fun with it.

Makiah will be 11 months old this month. Which seems crazy to me she is just too small! She really is learning a lot. While we were at Candi's house she learned to crawl up the stairs. Which I think is kinda funny because (if I remember right) that is where Evan learned to climb stairs. She is also learning to wave and point at things. She has stood up on her own two or three times but only for a few seconds before she grabs onto the closest thing to her. She notices things around her, on our way home she would watch trucks drive by and she liked watching the windmills. She even found the moon the other night. She will eat just about anything we give her which is a nice change (Evan is too picky). She is a funny little girl.

Evan is coming up on two and a half years this summer. He is a crazy little guy! His Grandma Bateman found that he is a boy who knows what he wants! And he really is. Once he has his mind set to one thing it is very hard to get him focused on something else. He is talking so much now! He'll jabber on and on. If he wants something he'll repeat it until he gets it. If we don't have it (ex: candy) he'll just keep asking. He'll repeat everything we say (ex: he thinks Dallas is Captain Amazing) and he remembers lots of different things. He has everybody's names memorized in our family. He loved to tell everyone "Hi!" while we were visiting, "Hi Grandma!" "Hi Cami" "Hi Jason!" you get the picture. We are very luck to have these two crazy kids!

(I had to add this one)
I will be posting about our trip soon, I just couldn't wait to share these pictures!Oh yeah, I have to post one more thing. When Candi took this picture of Kiah I thought, we have a picture of Evan doing the same thing! It's funny because Candi took both of these pictures, at the same park and they have the same expression on their faces! I think they look a like in these two pictures, kinda fun :)
