We had a few different things we wanted to do this weekend but then I remembered that it was the week to pick strawberries at Annie's Orchard. I am so glad we went! The kids loved it of course and I was surprised at how much Dallas enjoyed himself. He would have picked all day if I would have let him :)
These are the best tasting strawberries that I have ever had....

Now, what to do with all of those yummy strawberries.....?

I've been enjoying the strawberries from the grocery store lately, but they don't look anywhere near as good as those. They look so good!
Let's see, what to do with them... lots of smoothies, freeze them, or I have a recipe for a great syrup (sauce) that's yummy on pancakes/waffles.
Those are beautiful strawberries! That totally makes me want to find someplace that I can do that.
Use them for freezer jam, strawberry pie, chopped up and frozen for ice cream or smoothies, strawberry shortcake, just as a snack... Yum!
