I love these kids, and I love being a mom :)
I had such a fun week! Dallas and I got to go out twice, thanks to our great friends who babysat for us :) We went to dinner on our anniversary (Applebee's :)) On Friday we went to see New Moon with some friends. I really liked the movie, I was actually really impressed! I really didn't like Twilight so I wasn't expecting the best- but it was good! I definitely recommend it.
Yesterday I got to do two photo shoots, and I had a blast! I was so nervous, but everything turned out :) Check out my photo blog to see the pics!
Random story about Evan: This morning I asked him if he wanted to get married one day (He has been so into weddings lately) and he said "yes, I wear a white dress?" (with a very excited expression on his face). So I had to explain that girls wear the dresses and the boys wear suits. Then I asked who he wanted to marry... no answer... so I started naming some of his friends just to tease him. He said "No, I marry Kiah!" :) I thought it was cute, I remember wanting to marry my dad when I was little :) I think it is so sweet how much he loves his Kiah :)

Last year I shared our wedding video and this year I wanted to share our wedding announcement :) This is totally unique and we love it!!! We asked Dallas' sister, Candi, to make our announcements and she used this picture as an example. We really liked it and decided to keep it that way :) This picture was taken at Lagoon after a long, hot day. I was actually very sick from the heat and rides, so we got some Icees to cool down. If we would have realized that we were getting our engagement picture taken that day maybe we would've taken time to do our hair :) We do have other engagement pictures taken by Candi and my brother Brandon that we love so much (I'll have to post some of them).
We were able to get each other a fun gift this year :) Check out our new furniture (and cute lamp)!!! I am so in love with it!

Today (and yesterday) was just one of those days. For all of us. One of those days that you just want to throw your hands up and say "I give up!" Last night I was online searching for airline tickets... without a trip in mind... I just wanted to go home :( I finally remembered how expensive airline tickets are, and how poor I am. I gave up and just cried instead. Even though I am now a parent with a nice little home for my family, I still get home sick. I think I am okay now. The kids are in bed and my house is now in tact (despite the broken dryer). I can now *finally* relax. I took these pictures this morning when we were trying to cheer up the kids. Just looking at them made me feel happier. I thought I would share...
Poor Kiah fell down and scraped up her nose this week, it looks pretty bad.
