Our lonnnng Halloween week...

I have way too many pictures to post! I will limit myself, but beware this will still be long!

Halloween seemed to last all week, which was fine with me :) We had a lot of fun. On Monday I made pumpkin pies... mmmm yummy. I decided that I should do this every year so we can eat it the night we carve pumpkins. And that is what we did. We ate the first one with the missionaries on Tuesday night. Then the second one on Wednesday night after we carved our little pumpkin. The kids loved carving the pumpkin. I thought they would be uninterested in it but they weren't. Kiah especially got into it!

On Thursday morning we had a Halloween party for Joy School. Evan wore his costume to the party and then off it went. He wouldn't leave it on. I dressed Kiah up as a skunk for the party and she was so cute! They painted pumpkins, decorated cookies, and did a cake walk. We managed to get a group shot, though it isn't the best picture in the world.

I love this picture! Such pretty wings :)
On Friday I had our ward play group at my house. I love play group! But it sure is crazy having it at your own house! We had fun making marshmallow spiders and playing pin the face on the jack-o-lantern. The cute kids wore their costumes.

That night we had pizza for dinner. Not a huge deal but there is something about pizza and Halloween. You just got to have it! :) That and doughnuts... which we didn't have... I think that needs to be a tradition also :)

Halloween was tons of fun. Evan couldn't wait to go trick or treating! I had been getting him so excited all week and he couldn't wait. We had a fun party with friends that night. We decorated cookies, ate yummy snacks and we even did a pinata. Then finally Evan got to go trick or treating :)

Makiah was Tinker bell

Evan was some sort of superhero, I really didn't put any effort into his costume. I knew it would come off within minutes and I was right. By the time we did go trick or treating he was a dragon (his costume from last year).

Evan and Carly the pumpkin, Evan is always happy with Carly around.

The best part of the night!
