First few steps!!!

Makiah has been crawling for so long and I have been anxious for her to start walking. She's still so little so I guess I shouldn't rush her. I just love it when babies learn new things! They get so excited, and of course it's fun for me. This past week or so I've been trying to get Kiah to at least stand up and she has done so well. I clap for her all the time and so she loves to clap with me. Yesterday morning she kept standing up on her own while we were playing outside. She would stand up with out even holding on to anything and then sit back down again. Later that day I stood her up and she took three little steps to me! Oh so fun!!! Here are two videos of me trying to get her to do it again. The first one was the best but Dallas pressed record a second to late and missed the first step...

I think it's finally time I let Kiah feed herself with a spoon. I am such a slacker and I only let her eat with her hands. Yesterday I was feeding her Applesauce and Evan asked if he could do it. He did a good job and both he and Kiah thought it was pretty funny. Kiah is so funny when she eats. She isn't very picky and she loves anything sweet. She smacks her lips when she eats and it is really cute. Another fun thing she started is shaking her head. She especially loves it when her Dad copies her. She thinks she is so funny, and she is!
