This week

This morning Makiah and Evan were in our bed playing (while Dallas and I tried to get a few more minutes of sleep in). I asked Makiah where Daddy was and she pointed at Daddy and said "Da!" Oh so cute! Evan left the room for something and when he came back he couldn't see his Dad (he was sleeping wrapped up in the blanket). So he said "Where's Daddy? Oh, there he is!" (When he saw his face) "Where Daddy arm go? (then Daddy showed him his arm under the covers) Oh, there it is!" ....random but cute.

After church I was in the kitchen and Kiah was crawling under me. I asked her where mommy was and she reached up with both arms and said, "Ma!" Hopefully this is something she'll remember!

Makiah takes a few steps every now and then. She likes to stand up... but not always. Sometimes she gets mad at me when I try and get her to walk. Today she took two steps to get to the toy shelf. I am so proud of her!

We have been collecting things to give Makiah for her birthday. Shopping has been so much fun. I've been finding some good deals and I am super excited to spoil my little girl! Four more days and she is one :)

This has been a past time of ours lately...

We have loved going on walks. The weather has been so nice the past two weeks and These kids just love being outside. They really can't get enough of it. This wagon was just temporary... I can't wait till Kiah gets her birthday gifts!
