Little stories about Evan
On Friday we went to the Lilly Nature Center and Celery bog with our friends. Evan liked the puppets...
This morning Makiah and Evan were in our bed playing (while Dallas and I tried to get a few more minutes of sleep in). I asked Makiah where Daddy was and she pointed at Daddy and said "Da!" Oh so cute! Evan left the room for something and when he came back he couldn't see his Dad (he was sleeping wrapped up in the blanket). So he said "Where's Daddy? Oh, there he is!" (When he saw his face) "Where Daddy arm go? (then Daddy showed him his arm under the covers) Oh, there it is!" ....random but cute.
This has been a past time of ours lately...
We have loved going on walks. The weather has been so nice the past two weeks and These kids just love being outside. They really can't get enough of it. This wagon was just temporary... I can't wait till Kiah gets her birthday gifts! Evan loves, loves, loves his bike! He rides it all the time. He likes to ride down the sidewalk to his friend Carly's house, and then loops around back to our house. When ever he sees Carly's car he has to point it out.
Evan's friend Carly is a cutie. Her Mom (Melissa Newton) told me the other day that they walked past our house and Carly said "I love Evan, he is a good friend!" She is a sweetie and she is always watching out the window for Evan. They get along so well. Evan is always watching for her so we can go out and play in the sand with her. Oh another cute thing about Carly is that she prayed for Evan, Makiah, Jessica and...... Evan's Daddy the other night. She couldn't remember Dallas' name, But she did pretty good remembering to pray for the rest of us. Evan also loves her little brother, Joseph. He just turned one and he is close to Makiah's age.
These pictures were taken on June 26 2009. Evan played with his friends in the fountain on campus and they had so much fun.

Today I walked in on Evan and his Daddy looking at the church picture book. Evan informed me that Jesus was awake in one of the pictures. Dallas explained that they just looked at the picture of Jesus after he had died. Now Jesus is awake! Evan just loves Jesus. His prayer the other night went like this:
Heavenly Father,
Thank thee for Jesus,
thank thee for Joseph Smith
thank thee for Prophets
In Jesus name amen.
He really does listen to the things we tell him, how comforting!
